We're Always Hearing About Whale Strandings On Our Beaches And Now We Can Help
Volunteers in the southwest are being offered training on what to do in the event of a dolphin or whale stranding.
It's happening in Busselton this weekend following several strandings in the region over the past few years.
The training course is being run by the Organisation for the Rescue and Research of Cetaceans in Australia.
It's been held in Perth and Albany, and now this Sunday in Busselton.
Rescue techniques for whales, seals, dolphins and dugongs will be covered, with practical work included.
