Tostee Trial: Warriena Wright Had 80 Separate Injuries
The jury in the Gable Tostee murder trial has heard that New Zealand tourist Warriena Wright's body had so many injuries, it almost "folded over itself" from her fall from his 14th floor balcony.
Pathologist Dianne Little telling the court on Thursday, Ms Wright had 80 separate injuries to her body, and that she had to calculate Ms Wright's height at 162cm because of the "severe disruption" to her body.
Dr Little also found self inflicted scars on her body, including on both wrists and on her right thigh.
Saul Holt QC also asked Dr Little to confirm if her examination found any sign of strangulation, she replied "not a single sign of that".
Yesterday the jury was shown evidence of explicit Tinder conversations between Tostee and Wright from the week leading up to her death.
Tostee told Ms Wright, "You look delicious. I want to do dirty things to you".
CCTV footage of the pair's initial meeting and them later entering the lift in Tostee's apartment building was also shown.
Tostee was later seen in the video leaving the building at 2:25am through the basement, just moments after Wright fell from his balcony, as he left to order a pizza.
Phone records tendered in court revealed Tostee didn't call police, instead trying to contact a criminal lawyer, as well as phoning his father, claiming he "might have a bit of a situation".
Once final evidence in Tostee's trial has finished, prosecutor Glen Cash and defence barrister Saul Holt QC will give their closing statements, followed by Justice John Byrne's directions to the jury, before the final verdict.
