Dreamworld staff have gathered at the theme park for a private memorial service, following Tuesday's Thundred River Rapids ride tragedy.
The park's CEO Craig Davidson says that the service, and a candlelight vigil (tonight) will go ahead despite police putting a stop to today's planned public memorial day.
"I'm going to be there [tonight] with my family, because we want to be a part of the healing process".
He says the Gold Coast mayor, Tom Tate, will also be there along with members of the Tourism sector, and QLD employment minister Grace Grace.
The decision about if and when the park will re-open has now been delayed until at least Monday. At the moment, the park is still a crime scene with police and the coroner still investigating.
