Rove And Sam Disagree With The Decision To Re-Open Dreamworld
'I just find it really disrespectful."
The public are still reeling over the tragedy that occurred at Dreamworld this week and overnight the news broke of the popular theme park reopening Friday morning.
Rove and Sam were amongst many people who were very surprised that the park is re-opening so soon after the tragic death of four holiday-makers on the Thunder River Rapids ride.
"I think it's safe to say Sam, in all honesty that we're a little bit shocked to hear today that Dreamworld will be reopening tomorrow." Rove said.
Dreamworld have decided to open the gates of the popular park from 11am Friday morning as a memorial day for the four victims, with limited rides in operation and all proceeds going to the Red Cross.
"I think it's disrespectful to the families that lost their loved ones" Sam Frost told Rove "And it's so traumatising for the staff that worked there, there are still investigations going on!"
"We were talking about it thinking they would be shut down until at least the Christmas school holidays and for some people even that would be too soon." Rove added "Then boom, here we are only a matter of days later."
"It's a very interesting and surprising decision they've made." Rove concluded.
