Rose Byrne Reveals All In Our Exclusive Interview

What was harder to recover from, being kicked by a Donkey, or oiling up shirtless Zac Efron?

Rove and Sam spoke to the incredibly talented Rose Byrne in a radio exclusive, where she revealed all about her career, being a mum, working with Oprah and her upcoming play at Sydney Theatre Company.

Rose is best known for her comedy roles in Bridesmaids, Get Him To The Greek and Bad Neighbours and now Sydney will have the chance to see her tread the boards in Sydney Theatre Company's production of Speed The Plow.

"I think like any actor, diversity is so great." Rose revealed to Rove and Sam. "To come back to Australia and do a play is so challenging and great, but then I get to go and do something funny like Bridesmaids or Spy, comedy is really hard!"

Rose is also starring in an upcoming HBO film, The Immortal Life Of Henrietta Lacks with Oprah Winfrey.

"All of my scenes were with Oprah!" Rose told Rove and Sam. "She's an amazing person, an amazing woman to spend time with and she kept saying how she was nervous, which was incredible to hear that from someone like Oprah Winfrey!"

Rose's upcoming play Speed The Plow isn't too far from the comedy world. "Thank god it's a satire! It's incredibly funny!" Rose revealed.

"It's a Hollywood Satire, It looks at these producers and the absurdity of the world they live in, like they're very excited about this film, but neither of them have read the script!"
